  • The 6-6, 214-pounder is not throwing off a mound and has yet to appear in an exhibition game for the Angels. He has thrown on the side and on flat ground, though it is unclear if he will continue to do so as he continues therapy.

Finley is scheduled to be the Opening Day starter.

He was 11-9 with a 3.39 ERA and one complete game -- a shutout -- in 34 starts. In 223 1/3 innings he yielded 210 hits and 109 walks while striking out 212, good for fourth in the American League.
