Algerian authorities identified a suicide bomber who was featured in a Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) statement. Makhloufi Sahari, 35, nicknamed Abu Merierm, was born in Algiers and was wanted by the security services since June 2007 following the investigations into the dual suicide attacks that rocked the capital Algiers, Interior Ministry sources said. Sahari was suffering a nervous breakdown due to a serious illness that affected the lower parts of his body, and was initially recruited to go on a suicide mission, according to the ministry's sources (read the article in Arabic>)
