Add Headers and Footers to Google Docs Documents

A recent update to Google Docs added a minor but decidedly worthwhile feature: headers and footers. Now, when you click the Insert tab, you'll see options for both on the right side of the toolbar. Click either one, enter your header or footer text, and you're done! Unfortunately, you can't yet add automatic page numbering to headers or footers; hopefully Google's got that cooking for the next update. In the meantime, Docs gets a step closer to Word functionality. [via Google Operating System]
