Seventeen-year-old Brae Hansen calls 911 to report the shooting death of her stepfather, Tim MacNeil, during a home invasion robbery.
Brae Hansen confesses to police that she planned the murder with her brother Nathan Gann. He admits shooting Tim MacNeil during an interrogation that was never allowed as evidence in his trial. Both Gann and Hansen are convicted of first degree murder. Gann is sentenced to 25 years to life in prison. Hansen is sentenced to life in prison without parole.
