5 Ways to Make Your Content Go Viral

You've got a message that you want the world to hear. Maybe it's news of a new product or website or an announcement of your prodigious talents (and availability for employment). How can you get your content in front of the maximum number of eyeballs? Ensure the content goes viral, of course, and few are better placed to offer advice on how to make your message forwarding friendly than Jonah Peretti, CEO of Buzzfeed.

At a recent meet-up at Buzzfeed's offices, Peretti offered his five tried and true rules for creating content that's catching. His entertaining advice -- which manages the impressive feat of including references to Mormons, mullets and the mentally unstable -- is rounded up in the presentation below, which has itself gone viral. If you haven't already checked it out, it's not to be missed. Or, if you only have two minutes to spare, check out Peretti's condensed version of his ideas in this super short segment from TechCrunch TV.
