11 and a half foot python slithers into a factory

(CBS/Reuters) An 11 and a half foot python slithered into a factory in Shenzhen, China creating quite a scare.

The snake opened its mouth and flung itself at a frightened employee who then alerted coworkers and nearby border guards.

The 66-pound python was identified as being under state protection.

Workers and guards captured the animal which was not hurt during the rescue effort.

It was set free in a fertile area near the border of Shenzhen and Hong Kong - hopefully, to never return.
