Art is a collective of our meshing cultures, our abstract thoughts, our wildest imagination and a visual depiction of what we cannot put into words. Art is and has always been one of the most effective means in uniting civilizations on an emotional and scholarly level, almost simultaneously. We art in any and everything we encounter. We cherish it. We escape with it.Have you ever been to an art museum?

If you have never been to an art museum, you should begin by checking out The Wynwood Walls in Miami, Florida. It meshes popular art with politics and social statements with tradition. It will take you prisoner and trap you within its walls, because you simply will not want to leave.

Wall-to-door artwork in an industrial city space, Wynwood has been capturing International attention through its collection modern and urban art from artists around the globe. From politics to hip hop, The Wynwood Walls showcases mural art in a way that it has never before been seen. The subject of reality docu-series"Here Comes The Neighborhood," which "explores the power of public art and innovation to uplift and revitalize urban communities," showcased Wynwood as it welcomed the strategic design and implementation of an art district in an otherwise decrepit area in Miami's Midtown Wynwood District.

Created in the warehouse district of Wynwood in Miami, FL, late and legendary founder Tony Goldman decided that Wynwood would be his "giant canvases in [bringing together] the greatest street art ever seen in one place." Designed to incorporate six buildings in a walkthrough collection of urban and modern art, Goldman manifested his dream into reality, and in 2009 the world was blessed to discover "the world's greatest artists working in the graffiti and street art genre" through "diverse representation of both American and international artists."

Becoming a live and instrumental part of the art, pedestrians get to stroll through a mural gallery of old school graffiti and modern art pieces, embracing art that has been designed to make excellent use of and enhance its environment … not just placed into an environment because it appeals to the gallery.

In 2010, Wynwood Doors was added by Goldman Properties to beautify and renovate the outdoor space that has been left to deteriorate in an abandoned industrial jungle. The addition of an outdoor gallery that showcases the works of International modern artists, as well as bold selections from world-renown graffiti artists of the early days of hip hop, was a clever move to bring American modern and popular art to revitalize spaces left deserted. In this case, it has been used to create a land of urban wonder in portraying the modern lives of a global community.
