"Beliebers" Camp Outside South Beach Mansion

MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) – A herd of "Beliebers" are sticking by Justin Bieber Thursday night following the pop star's alleged drag racing, drug use and an arrest that started in the early morning hours on Miami Beach.

Crowds of crazed fans, chanting "we want Justin," media and paparazzi were standing outside the Orchid House on Collins, where Bieber is reportedly staying, for hours on end hoping to catch a glimpse of "the Biebs"  since his release from jail.

"I just wanna tell him how much I love him and give him a hug," said Ann Marie Rodriguez.

The young Bieber was arrested at 4:09 a.m. Thursday morning near the intersection of Pine Tree Drive and 26th Street in a yellow Lamborghini. The area of Pine Tree Drive on Miami Beach where the alleged drag racing was happening is a residential area with a posted speed limit of 30 miles per hour. The arresting officer estimated Bieber was going twice the speed limit.

"Were all human and he made a mistake and I think he knows that but we're all still standing by him, right? Are we all standing by him?" Rodriguez asks the crowd of girls around her who, in unison, enthusiastically respond "Yeah."

"There's media, there's paparazzi hunting him down when he's just a normal 19 year-old kid trying to live his life and make music to make his fans happy and everyone's just judging him," said Rayana Barroso.

Just one hour after facing a judge, the pop star walked out of jail on $2500 bond. Bieber jumped on the top of a black Cadillac Escalade and waved before he was chauffeured away.

Bieber is reportedly hiding out at the Orchid House Thursday night, a $3000 a night five bedroom mansion, where he's been staying since his arrival in South Florida.

CBS4's Gaby Fleischman asked Juan Carlos Garces, a paparazzo who was waiting outside the Orchid House Thursday night, if he thinks Bieber is spiraling out of control.

"I think he's going through what everyone goes through which is the learning process of life and he has to pay the price, but he really must consider that a lot of people love and look up to him," said Garces.

It is unknown how much longer Bieber is planning on staying in South Florida. He is expected to appear in court next Monday.
