As Hillary Clinton wraps up her term as Secretary of State, we've gathered some of her most memorable moments - from serious to whimsical - that were caught on tape during the past four years.


Sworn in as Secretary of State

February 2, 2009: Vice President Biden administered the oath of office for Clinton during a ceremonial swearing in with her husband, former President Bill Clinton, daughter Chelsea and mother, Dorothy Rodham.

Snaps at student's question

August 10, 2009: Clinton snapped at a Congolese student over a question mistranslated about her husband's views on foreign policy, saying: "My husband is not Secretary of State, I am."

Reacts to Benghazi attack

September 12, 2011: Clinton remarked on the death of U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens in Benghazi, Libya, in an attack on the U.S. Consulate: "This is an attack that should shock the conscience of people of all faiths around the world."


Heated at Benghazi hearing

January 23, 2013: At a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing, Clinton passionately defended the Obama administration against charges that they misled the American public on the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, saying "nothing could be further from the truth" and heatedly pushing back on suggestions to the contrary.

Says Benghazi deaths are her biggest regret

January 29, 2013: In a global "town hall" with young people, Clinton said her biggest regret during her four years in the post was the loss of American lives in Benghazi, Libya. "We have to understand from the very beginning you can't control everything," she said.
