Westwood intersection renamed Woman Life Freedom Square in honor of Mahsa Amini
The intersection of Westwood Boulevard and Rochester Avenue was renamed Woman Life Freedom Square on Sunday in honor of Mahsa Amini, the Iranian woman who died in police custody after she was arrested for not wearing her hijab to their liking in late 2022.
