New Cars Act goes into effect on Oct. 1st
The California Combating Auto Retail Scams or Cars Act aims to protect California consumers when they buy a new or used car at a dealership. Its supporters say it creates the strongest consumer protections in the nation for car buyers. The law goes into effect October 1st. Local state senator, Ben Allen, who authored The Cars Act joins CBS LA to explain the law further.
