CalFresh Awareness Month event held in Compton
Since 2011, May has been CalFresh Awareness Month in California, where county and state leaders remind citizens of the immense benefits the program has to offer. On Wednesday, many of those leaders gathered for an event in Compton to kick off the start of the month.
