Four students at California State University, Bakersfield, were beaten with paddles, canes and whips and shot with a BB pellet gun in a series of college hazing incidents, according to newly released court documents.
Officials say the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity at California State Polytechnic University has been suspended over allegations of hazing.
Authorities are investigating a hazing incident involving four underage Imperial Beach lifeguards who got drunk and passed out, then were posed in sexually suggestive ways and photographed during an initiation party for seasonal guards.
