Beatles and music fans can let it be at the Ringo: Peace & Love exhibit at the Grammy Museum. This interactive exhibit is dedicated to The Beatle's drummer, which gives admirers a closer look at the musical genius' personal and creative life. View Ringo's drum kit that he played on The Ed Sullivan show as well as his Sgt. Pepper Suit. Visitors can also take a cool interactive drum lesson with the seven-time Grammy-award winner.

Historic New Beverly Cinema will show Terminator tonight at 9:25 p.m. For $8, movie goers can watch James Cameron's science fiction film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Michael Biehn. Dance along to their catchy pop tunes while learning about animals and creating life experiences. Levitt Pavilion shows are free and features a food court, vendors and activities for the kids. Bring your blanket for the lawn and enjoy a musical night with your family and friends.

SIP-tember: a Celebration of the Cocktail

Culinary expert Julia Child would have turned 101 on Aug. 15, 2013. The Pasadena native will be celebrated at "Sip-tember" with a City-wide Cocktail Party. "SIP-tember: A Celebration of the Cocktail" takes place between Aug. 15 through Sept. 26 at participating Pasadena restaurants and lounges. During SIP-tember, 64 cocktails compete for six weeks for a live taste-off of the four drinks that win their bracket. Patrons can vote for their favorites and the final four cocktails will be matched in a live tasting during the annual Taste of Pasadena, hosted by the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce at the Rose Bowl from 6 to 9 p.m. on Sept. 26. Gary Baseman: The Door Is Always Open

"Gary Baseman: The Door Is Always Open" explores the wondrous world of his art and designs. The Skirball Cultral Center hosts Baseman's first major exhibition and visitors can learn about his American pop culture influences as well as his Jewish family heritage. Hear from Baseman himself in six videos where he shares stories about his family, progression as an artist and gives details on his latest work. The exhibit displays paintings, photography, toys as well as illustrations featured in Rolling Stone and The Los Angeles times. Free to all on Thursdays.

Head to Long Beach for BBQ Festival, which takes place Aug. 16 to 18 at the Rainbow Lagoon. You and your family can dance and eat at this all-in-one outdoor festival. Guests will receive a free souvenir E-Picture at the event. All United States active military personnel, as well as children under 12, receive free general admission to the festival. The 3rd annual LA Taco Festival takes place at the Mariachi Plaza from noon to 8:00 p.m. The event is free to the public and attendees will taste the best tacos in LA, including carne asada, fish and potato flavors. The non-profit organization Jovenes, Inc, organizes the event and funds are raised to support homeless and at-risk youth. This family-friendly festival includes performances from youth bands as well as professional artists. Take the Metro Gold Line to historic Mariachi Plaza or park on the intersection of 1st St. and Boyle Ave.

Experience the fiery dance of Flamenco at the The Fountain Theater. Forever Flamenco presents Yaelisa y Caminos Flamencos in "Flamenkeando." The intimate theater holds 78 seats and will offer guests a Flamenco performance with dancers Manuel Gutierrez, Yaelisa and Devon LaRussa as well as singers and musicians. Show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $40.
