Ah, catch and release; a simple phrase with yet so many interpretations. Obviously there is the common meaning of catching a fish and releasing it to the wild, and then there are the super-fun Urban Dictionary definitions that we can't repeat here, but pretty much translate to a one night stand. How lovely.

Well, now you can add a whole new meaning to the phrase with the City of Angels' newest seafood restaurant, Catch and Release. It's making quite the splash- and trust us, L.A is not going to want to let this one go.

As mentioned, Catch and Release is the newest seafood restaurant to hit the L.A scene, and is certainly, by the far, the best. Here, Chef Jason Neroni focuses on turning fresh seafood into delicious soul food, and surrounding his creations with a warm, nautical theme, making it the perfect place to take your catches this summer.

While you engage in small talk and gaze into each other's eyes, you'll first get to enjoy scrumptious snacks like a Lobster-Stuffed Parker House Roll with Duke's Mayo, Tarragon and Lemon; "Ho-Jo" Crispy Clam Strips with Old Bay; Bread and Butter Tartar Sauce; and "Red Snapper" Hot Dogs with Sweet Relish, Mustard and Sauerkraut. Seriously could it sound any more tempting? And to answer our own question, yes it could, because we haven't even gotten to the main plates yet.

Yep, after sliding some snacks down you'll get to fill your belly to the brim with dishes like Spaghetti with Dungeness Crab, Ramp Butter, Chiles, Breadcrumbs and Lemon; or PEI Mussels with Mustard and Cider Broth, and Whipped Bacon Butter Toast. If you're more of a landlubber than a Seaman, well you probably should've picked somewhere else to go, but there are things on the menu for you to enjoy too, like the tempting Fried Chicken with Parmesan, Sweet and Sour Chili Glaze and Slaw. Excuse me while I wipe the drool from my chin.

So head over to Catch and Release for your next date night and enjoy some superb seafood, just maybe don't take anyone you plan on releasing...
