WATCH: Despite Losing Ronaldo, Portugal Wins 2016 European Championship
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Portugal overcame the loss of Cristiano Ronaldo and was able to defeat France 1-0 in extra time at the 2016 European Championship.
Ronaldo left the game after only 25 minutes once he injured his knee.
Portugal's Eder scored the only goal of the match in extra-time, beating French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris from 20 yards out.
