Two 18-Year-Olds Arrested For Alleged Armed Robbery

COACHELLA (CBS) — Two men were arrested for an alleged armed robbery in Coachella on Wednesday night.

Rodolfo Ramos and Alonzo Hernandez Torrez, both 18-year-old Thermal residents, were arrested at midnight for holding up two men with a handgun.

One of the suspects in a mask held up the men at the intersection of Bagdad Avenue and Shady Lane while the other suspect waited in a red sedan.

Coachella police and Riverside County sheriff's deputies found their suspected getaway car on Pierce Street in Thermal, sheriff's Sgt. John Hignight said.

Neither of the victims were hurt, according to police.

Officers recovered the stolen property and handgun allegedly used in the robbery.
