Toast To Beantown Saturday And Raise Funds For Bombing Victims
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The City of Angels will raise a glass, or a few, to Beantown Saturday!
Dozens of restaurants across the Southland will participate in LAdrinks2Boston on April 27. Eateries and bars will offer Boston-themed food and cocktails with a portion of proceeds from featured specials going to The One Fund.
Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Menino created The One Fund Boston, Inc. to help the people most affected by the marathon bombings on April 15, 2013.
"People of LA, we'd like you to support the businesses that are raising these funds by visiting them and drinking, dining, having a good time," the event's Facebook page said.
