Los Angeles man arrested for home invasion robbery in Riverside County

A 20-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested in connection with an alleged home invasion robbery in Riverside County last weekend. 

In a news release shared by the Riverside County Sheriff's Office, deputies said that they were called to the 25000 block of Glen Eden Road, in an unincorporated part of Riverside County known as Temescal Valley, for reports of a robbery. 

"Multiple callers reported a robbery had occurred at the location where the suspect brandished a firearm, demanded valuables and fled the area," the release said. 

Arriving deputies began searching for the suspect, who was located with assistance from RSO's Sheriff's Aviation Unit and the K9 Unit, according to the release. 

He was later identified as 20-year-old David Cordero, of Los Angeles, and taken into custody without further incident. 

"During the investigation, additional victims were identified, but no injuries were reported," the release said. "Evidence related to the robberies, including stolen property, was also located during the search."

Cordero was booked for home invasion robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and brandishing a weapon, deputies said.
