Support Local Food Banks By Participating In 2013 'Stamp Out Hunger'
PACOIMA (CBSLA.com) — The U.S. Postal Service and National Association of Letter Carriers will hold the 2013 "Stamp Out Hunger" food drive this weekend.
During the 21st annual event on Saturday, letter carriers across the nation will collect non-perishable food items set out on porches for delivery to local food banks.
The largest one-day food drive, which has donated over one billion pounds of food during its history, will help ensure that millions of struggling families can get fed by stocking local food banks that are struggling to keep up with the demand.
