Steve Nash Listed As Doubtful For Lakers-Clippers Game

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) Lakers point guard Steve Nash is listed as doubtful for Friday night's game against the cross-town rival Los Angeles Clippers.

After playing his second game with the Lakers, Nash was forced to leave the game with a with a left leg contusion around the shin area after running into Portland's rookie Damian Lillard in the second quarter of Wednesday's night game.

"We'll see how it goes, see how it calms down some more, but I couldn't tell from this point," he said after Thursday's practice. "Maybe I'm too optimistic to say 'doubtful,' but it's definitely tough."

Backup point guard Steve Blake will replace Nash for the starting job against the 1-0  Clippers.
