Orange County detectives seek help finding suspect in 2024 homicide in Stanton

Orange County detectives are seeking help from the public in locating the suspect in their ongoing homicide investigation, dating back to late 2024 in the city of Stanton. 

The incident happened on Dec. 20, 2024, at around 4:20 p.m., when deputies said they were called to Court Street just north of Orangewood Avenue for assistance with a homicide that had happened in the area. 

They said that an unknown individual was seen walking to the scene of the incident and opening fire on multiple victims. 

Almost two years after the investigation began, detectives have shared photos of the suspect and the vehicle allegedly used while fleeing from the scene of the shooting. 

They believe that the vehicle is a Camry. 

"Detectives are hoping someone may recognize the vehicle and help identify its occupants," a social media post from the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
