Southern California's Kern County jolted by early morning 4.2 magnitude earthquake
An early morning earthquake shook some mountain communities in Kern County on Sunday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
At about 3:38 a.m., a 4.2 magnitude earthquake was reported about one mile from Frazier Park, a small unincorporated community in the Tejon Pass.
It could be felt as far as Los Angeles and Orange counties, according to a USGS map.
No injuries or damages were reported.
