Social Media Threats Prompt Increased Police Presence At Montebello School
MONTEBELLO (CBSLA) – Police increased their patrols at a Montebello school Wednesday in response to threats that were posted on social media.
The threats were made against Schurr High School, the city of Montebello reported Wednesday. However, they were deemed to "not be credible."
However, the city said Montebello police officers would increase their patrols at the school as a precaution.
Schurr High is part of the Montebello Unified School District.
