The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reports that about 15 vehicles on the lot of an Audi dealership in the 24000 block of Calabasas Road late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, along with another 10 to 20 vehicles that were parked on residential streets.

Some of the vandalism occurred in the neighborhoods along Mulholland Highway near Calabasas High School, the city reported.

Photos showed several cars spray painted with the numbers "999" and "666."

Cook's Corner Auto Body in Winnetka immediately offered to fix the damage for free.

"I saw the Facebook post (about the vandalism), and I just offered on the spot to clean these cars having no idea it was this widespread," Gary Adelstein with Cook's Corner told CBS2 Wednesday.

One of those fortunate customers was Jason Moore, whose sister's car was one of those damaged.

"This is my sister's car," Moore said. "First thing I did was go to her and see everything, 'who's bothering you, is everything cool?' And then next thing I know, the whole neighborhood, a bunch of cars got a bunch of stuff on them."

It's unclear how many suspects were involved. Deputies are asking anyone who has surveillance video of the crimes to email, or call 818-878-1808.
