Refugio State Beach Closed After Shark Bite
SANTA BARBARA (CBSLA.com) — Refugio State Beach could reopen later Friday after a shark reportedly bit a swimmer.
Authorities say a man who was free-diving and spearfishing Thursday was bitten on a foot.
His Go-Pro video shows the shark was probably a great white, 6-8 feet long.
The man, whose name was not released by officials, is expected to be OK.
