Redlands Police Release Sketch Of Suspect In Murder Of Teens

REDLANDS (CBS) — Police hope a new sketch will help them track down a gunman who shot and killed two teenagers and injured two others outside an apartment complex in January.

Redlands police released a sketch Wednesday morning showing a man with a hooded sweatshirt pulled over his head.

The gunman appears to be between 17 and 20-years old. He is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, 140-150 pounds with a thin build.

Police say on the night of Jan. 5 the gunman walked up to the group at a playground in the 900 block of Colton Avenue, shouted and then fired several rounds.

Quinn McCaleb, 17, died at the scene and 16-year-old Andrew Jackson died later at the hospital.

The shooter escaped in a dark colored mid to late 1990s model Honda Accord or Honda Civic.

Anyone who recognizes the gunman is asked to contact Redlands police at (909) 798-7681.

A $10,000 reward, provided by an anonymous donor, has also been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects in the shooting.
