Preliminary 3.6 magnitude earthquake shakes Inland Empire
A preliminary 3.6 magnitude earthquake hit the Inland Empire on Sunday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake was reported at 8:44 a.m. around six miles north of Cabazon in unincorporated Riverside County. It was about eight miles deep.
Preliminary information shows it was felt in parts of the Coachella Valley and reached as far west as Murrieta.
As of Sunday morning, no damages or injuries were reported.
