Police In Whittier Investigate Car That Might Contain Explosives

WHITTIER (CBSLA.com)  —  Police in Whittier are investigating a possible bomb threat.

Several streets have been closed to pedestrians and traffic.

The incident is being played out on Pioneer Boulevard, near Telegraph Road.

Police have a vehicle surrounded. From Sky9 above, the trunk and one car appeared to be open.

There was no visible sign of the bomb squad but half a dozen patrol cars were seen.

It was unclear from above if there was still a person inside the vehicle.
