Police: Boy, 12, Accidentally Shoots 11-Year-Old Girl After Finding Gun
FOREST FALLS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a 12-year-old boy accidentally shot an 11-year-old girl Sunday morning at a home in Forest Falls.
Deputies called to a residence in the 6000 block of Mountain Home Creek Road shortly after 11 a.m. say the boy reportedly found the firearm at the home.
The victim was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where she was treated for the wound. She is reportedly listed in good condition.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, as well as how the firearm was being stored.
