Pedestrian Hit And Killed By Taxi In Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD (CBS) — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a taxi cab early Monday morning on Highland Avenue.

Los Angeles police said a  pedestrian in his 40s was hit by a vehicle and died at the scene shortly before 5 a.m. Officers say the accident was not a hit and run and were interviewing the driver.

Traffic was diverted away from Highland Avenue. between Hawthorne Avenue and Highland Boulevard as an investigation was conducted.
