Parents Of Anton Yelchin Will Reportedly File Suit Over Death
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The parents of Anton Yelchin will reportedly file a lawsuit Tuesday over the "Star Trek" actor's death.
Yelchin died in June when his Jeep Grand Cherokee rolled down his Studio City driveway, pinning him against a fence and brick mailbox.
The Associated Press reports that Yelchin's vehicle was subject to a recall "because the gear shifters have confused drivers, causing the vehicles to roll away unexpectedly."
Last month, Fiat Chrysler released a statement, saying the company was investigating Yelchin's death, and sent its condolences to his family.
The family's attorney has scheduled a press conference for Tuesday to release further details about the wrongful death lawsuit.
