Officials Hope To Reunite 100-Pound Wayward Tortoise With Rightful Owner

RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities in Riverside County would like to reunite a 100-pound tortoise with its rightful owner.

The hefty reptile was found in the backyard of a home near Attica Drive and Scarsdale Street Tuesday afternoon.

Officials say the tortoise appears to be healthy and officers believe it has an owner.

But no one has come forward, yet.
