Neurologist Confirms Kobe Bryant's Concussion; Call Up Ebanks From DFenders
LOS ANGELES (CBS) After further diagnosis, Neurologist Dr. Vern Williams, confirmed Wednesday that in addition to the nasal fracture, Kobe Bryant suffered a concussion in Sunday's All-Star game.
Kobe will be evaluated again tomorrow by Dr. Williams to determine if he will play Wednesday night's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Lakers listed him as day-to-day.
The NBA's new concussion policy says it will prevent players from playing the day after experiencing concussion symptons. They will also have to perform a series of tests in order to return to the court.
Dwayne Wade apologized earlier today to Kobe for his hard foul on Sunday night.
Mitch Kupchak also announced Devin Ebanks was recalled from the D-fenders.
