Murrieta Woman Marries Man She Never Met at Ontario Airport

ONTARIO (CBSLA.com) — A Murrieta woman is taking a chance on love -- a big chance. Erica Harris married a man she never met in person Friday night at Ontario International Airport.

CBS2/KCAL9's Jennifer Kastner caught up with her as she anxiously waited for her groom.

"You don't drag your feet with real love. You leap into that like there's no tomorrow, and that's what we're doing," Harris said in her blissful tone.

A year ago, she and Arte Vann randomly connected over Instagram. Call it love at first click. But Vann lives in New York.

For months, their romance grew through original poetry along with videos.

Vann even bought a one-way plane ticket. The two planned to tie the knot minutes after he landed. After he did, he dropped down to his knee and popped the question.

"Will you marry me?" he asked. She said yes.

Christine Lee who witnessed the nuptial said "it's just really exciting. It's very surreal to be a part of this experience."

The newlyweds' advice to all lover seekers out there: "Don't listen to your thoughts. Don't listen to your head. Follow your heart. Follow your soul," Vann said.

"For anybody that doesn't believe in fairy tales anymore, who am I? And it can happen to you too," Harris said.
