Man Severely Burned While Trying To Steal Copper Wiring
PANORAMA CITY (CBSLA.com) — A man was in extremely critical condition Friday after being shocked while trying to steal copper wiring.
The man was trying to removed the wire from a transformer at Kaiser Hospital, 13652 Cantara Street in Panorama City, around 12:15 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department said.
He suffered severe electrical burns to his hands and other parts of his body.
Hospital employees found the man and tried to stabilize him.
The Los Angeles Fire Department helped transport the man into the hospital for treatment.
