Man In Woman's Clothes Accused Of Videotaping Inside Macy's Restroom
PALMDALE (CBS/AP) —A Palmdale man was arrested for reportedly videotaping females inside a Macy's bathroom while dressed like a woman.
Jason Pomare, 33, was charged Tuesday with six misdemeanor counts of unlawful use of a concealed camera for purposes of gratification.
Deputies said Pomare was wearing a bra with fake breasts, a wig and women's clothing while he secretly shot women under stalls Saturday at the retail store in the Antelope Valley Mall.
Store officials said they were alerted to Pomare when a woman saw a red light and notified security.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Sgt. Brian Hudson said a deputy on patrol in the mall parking area saw the suspect leaving the store.
Hudson said Pomare ran and was later found hiding in a mall storage area, where he was taken into custody.
