Man Hurt In Shooting Outside Calabasas Mobile Home; Suspect In Custody

CALABASAS (CBS) — A shooting outside a mobile home in Calabasas left one man hospitalized on Thursday and a suspect in custody.

The victim — who was described as a male adult "possibly in his 50s" — was found shot after Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call at 7:30 a.m. on the 23000 block of Mulholland Highway.

KNX 1070's Ron Kilgore reports the victim was hospitalized but his status was unknown.

A suspect described as a "possible shooter" was in custody "pending further investigation", deputies from the Lost Hills station said.

The sheriff's department is still unsure as to what might have caused the shooting.
