Man Accused Of Entering Home Through Unlocked Window, Physically Assaulting Riverside Resident
RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a man accused of entering a home through an unlocked bedroom window, and physically assaulting a resident was being sought in Riverside.
Officers responded to the home in the 3500 Block of Audubon Place following a report of a residential burglary and assault.
When they arrived, they searched the area for the suspect, who remained at large.
A preliminary investigation reveals that the suspect had entered the home, physically assaulted one person, and fled.
Police said the victim managed to scream out and alert another relative in the home.
Both were taken to the hospital with moderate, and non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect was described as a 6-foot-tall man. He was last seen wearing dark clothing. His race was not known.
