Lincoln Heights Bicyclist Shot In Neck

LINCOLN HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) – A Hispanic man was shot while biking near the Lincoln Heights Recreation Center Thursday morning.

The victim was biking in the area of Daly Street and Manitou Avenue at around 6:30 a.m. when he was struck in the neck by gunfire, Los Angeles police said.

He was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. His name was not released.

No suspects were immediately identified. There was no word on a motive.
