'They Don't Like Black People': 'SNL' Star Leslie Jones Hints At Discrimination At Ritz-Carlton

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Fresh off hosting the BET Awards, "Saturday Night Live" comedienne Leslie Jones says she was made to feel unwelcome at one of Los Angeles' swankiest hotels.

Jones, 49, took to Twitter on Monday to say she had "the worst stay" at the Ritz-Carlton in downtown L.A. and warned "[t]hey do not like black people!!".

The "Ghostbusters" actress did not elaborate on what prompted the tweet, nor did she immediately cite any evidence for wrongdoing.

The hotel's manager was reportedly investigating the accusations.

In response, the hotel tweeted back at Jones apologizing and pledging to "look into this right away".

It's not the first time Jones has used social media to stir up controversy: she was targeted on Twitter last August with a barrage of racial slurs and obscene photos. She called on the social networking service to do more to curb harassment, and Twitter banned several users as a result.
