Landlord-tenant dispute leaves one dead in Los Angeles County, homicide detectives say

One person was killed during a landlord-tenant dispute in Littlerock this week, according to Los Angeles County deputies. 

In a news release, LASD officials said that deputies were called to the 10000 block of E. Avenue S-10 at around 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday for a death investigation. 

Arriving deputies found the victim, who has not yet been identified, dead at the scene. 

Circumstances surrounding the death remain under investigation, but deputies said that the Homicide Bureau detectives learned that the victim and suspect were known to each other, and that the incident "stemmed from a Landlord, Tenant dispute."

"At this time, the suspect is outstanding; however, there is no threat to the community," the release said. 

The suspect has not been identified and deputies did not provide any further details as their search continues. They also did not note if the victim was the landlord or tenant involved in the incident.
