Jansen Has Recurring Heart Problems, In Danger Of Missing Rest Of Season

LOS ANGELES (CBS) The Dodges bullpen troubles could be getting worse and worse.

Dodgers' closer Kenley Jansen was held out of today's game in Colorado due to his heart conditions, according to LA Times.

Jansen, who has 25 saves for the Dodgers, missed a whole month last season with an irregular heartbeat.

Jansen spent two nights at a Los Angeles Hospital where he had to get his heart shocked to get back into rhythm as his body did not respond to medication.

Jansen will be given blood thinners for now and if he does not respond to the medication like last year, he may be in danger of missing the rest of the season.
