Hillary Clinton To Appear On 'Jimmy Kimmel,' Attend 3 Fundraisers

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Hillary Rodham Clinton is scheduled to begin a two-day visit to Los Angeles Wednesday to appear on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and attend three fundraisers for her campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Clinton's latest California swing will start with a fundraiser at the home of pop star Christina Aguilera and her fiancé-producer Matthew Rutler Wednesday. Aguilera is to set to perform and attendees who raise $10,000 will receive four tickets, according to Variety.

The former Secretary of State will tape her appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Thursday afternoon at the El Capital Theatre in Hollywood, to air later that night.

Filmmaker and actor Rob Reiner and his wife Michele will host a fundraiser for Clinton at their home on Thursday. Tickets start at $500, with those donating $2,700 getting to pose for a picture with Clinton and those raising $27,000 being admitted to a "host reception," Variety reported.

Clinton will also hold a fundraising reception Thursday at the home of Cynthia Telles, the director of the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute Spanish-speaking Psychosocial Clinic, and her husband, NBCUniversal executive Joe Waz.

The maximum individual contribution under federal law for a candidate seeking his or her party's presidential nomination is $2,700.

The trip to Southern California will be the fifth for Clinton since she declared her candidacy on April 12.

Clinton, who turned 68 on Oct. 26, conducted 11 fundraisers and participated in a roundtable discussion with a group of home care providers during her previous visits to the region.
