NB 710 Freeway Shut Down As HazMat Crews Clean Up Diesel Fuel Spill
EAST LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The northbound 710 Freeway in East Los Angeles was shut down Friday night as HazMat crews worked to clean a diesel fuel spill.
L.A. County Fire Department personnel were on the scene following reports of the incident, between the 5 and 60 freeways, just after 11 p.m.
Traffic could be seen backed up for miles as clean-up efforts were underway.
Officials could not immediately provide a time frame for the roadway's re-opening.
