Grammy Winner Akon Working To Light 1M African Households In 2014

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Five-time Grammy winner Akon visited the CBS2 studios Friday to talk about his  initiative to bring electricity to one million households in Africa by the end of 2014.

"Akon Lighting Africa", in conjunction with the GIVE 1 PROJECT, will support the installation of solar equipment in households to improve energy sufficiency.

Akon is also working on new music, with his new album is called Stadium. His first single is "So Blue".
