Firefighters Extinguish Blaze At Food Processing Plant
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters Tuesday extinguished a greater-alarm fire that erupted at a food processing plant.
The blaze was reported shortly after 8 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of S. Compton Avenue, according to firefighters.
More than 170 firefighters contained the fire within three hours.
No injuries were reported.
Arson investigators are assisting with the case.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
