Female Deputy Suspected Of Having Sexual Relationship With Inmate
SAN BERNARDINO (AP) — A female San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputy has been arrested on suspicion of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 19-year-old male inmate at the West Valley Detention Center.
Sheriff's officials say 38-year-old Katina M. Carter was arrested Friday after deputies served a warrant at her home. She was released after a bail bond was paid.
The inmate's name was not released.
Carter is on paid administrative leave as the investigation continues.
