Estate Of Murdered Reality TV Producer's Wife Settled
LOS ANGELES (AP) — The family of a reality TV producer accused of killing his wife in Mexico has settled a dispute with the woman's sisters over her estate.
The agreement announced in court Wednesday between the sisters of Monica Burgos Beresford-Redman and the parents of former "Survivor" producer Bruce Beresford-Redman calls for any money remaining in Monica Beresford-Redman's estate to be set aside for the couple's two young children.
Bruce Beresford-Redman remains jailed in Mexico and is charged with killing his wife while they were on vacation at a Cancun resort in 2010.
Monica Beresford-Redman's family had objected to her husband being a beneficiary of his wife's estate.
Bruce Beresford-Redman has denied killing his wife. He has been ordered by a Mexican judge to stand trial.
