End To Holiday Weekend Begins Long Evening At LAX
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — It has been crowded all day at Los Angeles International Airport and the congestion continued into the evening.
It was a Thanksgiving record at LAX with 2.3 million people expected to fly from Wednesday to Monday.
Some people thought they'd beat the rush by leaving earlier, but CBS2's two's Joy Benedict found out. That didn't happen. Lines were still long at around 6:30 p.m.
Here was a look at our LAX cam Sunday evening.
Many roads are also crowded, with people driving back home Sunday night.
The concern is the Grapevine, where the icy roads and wind can cause problems.
